Khuzdar: A powerful explosion rocked Nal Bazaar in Khuzdar district, resulting in the deaths of two people and injuries to four others.
According to reports, police officials reported that the blast caused vehicles to catch fire. Law enforcement agencies have begun collecting evidence to determine the nature of the explosion.
Khuzdar police further stated that the injured were being shifted to Nal and Khuzdar Teaching Hospital for medical treatment.
This incident follows multiple suicide bomb attacks in last 5 days and a major security operation the previous day, where security forces successfully repelled an attack by extremist militants on the Bannu Cantonment. During the confrontation, all 16 terrorists were neutralized. However, the clash also claimed the lives of five brave soldiers. Additionally, 13 innocent civilians lost their lives, and 32 others sustained injuries.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the desperate terrorists rammed two explosive-laden vehicles into the cantonment wall, causing a section of it to collapse.
